Dr. Dirk Schmidt


Statement:
The preservation and sustained management of wildlife is synonymous with ethical, and professional hunting.


History:
Dr. Dirk Schmidt, or Doc to his friends, was born in 1963 in Germany and emigrated to South Africa in 1969. He started hunting in his early teens, and is committed to the preservation and sustainable utilization of trophy game. Buhala Safaris has enjoyed tremendous growth and is built on a foundation of attention to detail, client satisfaction, and good trophy selection. A big thank you to our clients and their families that have experienced Africa with us for their support and continued friendships over the years. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Bow and rifle concessions are carefully selected to ensure everlasting memories of Africa, and trophies of a lifetime. Doc and his wife Jenny live on their ranch, Matamba, near Vaalwater, Northern Province.

Professional Hunters Association of South Africa (PHASA), Safari Club International (SCI) and the South African game Hunters & Conservation Association.
